4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord and rose up early, and set up an (A)altar [a]under the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 And he sent young [b]men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings of beeves, and sacrificed peace offerings unto the Lord.
6 Then Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

New International Version
4 Moses then wrote(A) down everything the Lord had said.
He got up early the next morning and built an altar(B) at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars(C) representing the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings(D) and sacrificed young bulls as fellowship offerings(E) to the Lord. 6 Moses(F) took half of the blood(G) and put it in bowls, and the other half he splashed(H) against the altar.
