15 Then Moses went up to the mountain, and (A)the cloud covered the mountain. 16 (B)And the glory of Yahweh dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He (C)called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. 17 (D)And the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like a (E)consuming fire on the mountain top, in the eyes of the sons of Israel.

New International Version

15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud(A) covered it, 16 and the glory(B) of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai.(C) For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.(D) 17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire(E) on top of the mountain.
