30 I will drive them out ahead of you little by little. I will do that until there are enough of you to take control of the land.
31 “I will make your borders secure from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. They will go from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land. You will drive them out to make room for yourselves. 32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.

30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession(A) of the land.
31 “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea[a] to the Mediterranean Sea,[b] and from the desert to the Euphrates River.(B) I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out(C) before you. 32 Do not make a covenant(D) with them or with their gods.
