26 If thou take thy neighbor’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him before the sun go down.
27 For that is his covering only, and this is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? therefore when he [a]crieth unto me, I will hear him: for I am merciful.
28 ¶ (A)Thou shalt not rail upon the Judges, neither speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

26 If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge,(A) return it by sunset, 27 because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in?(B) When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.(C)
28 “Do not blaspheme God[a](D) or curse(E) the ruler of your people.(F)
