Exodus 22:26-28
Contemporary English Version
26 (A) Before sunset you must return any coat taken as security for a loan, 27 because that is the only cover the poor have when they sleep at night. I am a merciful God, and when they call out to me, I will come to help them.
28 (B) Don't speak evil of me[a] or of the ruler of your people.

New International Version
26 If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge,(A) return it by sunset, 27 because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in?(B) When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.(C)
28 “Do not blaspheme God[a](D) or curse(E) the ruler of your people.(F)
