Exodus 20:23

²³Do not make any gods to be alongside me;^(A) do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.^(B)

Exodus 20:23

²³Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

²³You shall not make anything to be ^(A)with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.

¹⁷But those who trust in idols,
who say to images, ‘You are our gods,’^(A)
will be turned back in utter shame.^(B)

¹⁷They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

¹⁷They shall be ^(A)turned back,
They shall be greatly ashamed,
Who trust in carved images,
Who say to the molded images,
‘You are our gods.’
