19 and said to Moses, (A)“You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.” 20 (B)Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to (C)test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.” 21 The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the (D)thick darkness where God was.

19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak(A) to us or we will die.”(B)
20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid.(C) God has come to test(D) you, so that the fear(E) of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”(F)
21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness(G) where God was.
