17 (A)“You shall not covet (B)your neighbour's house; (C)you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbour's.”
18 Now when all the people saw (D)the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid[a] and trembled, and they stood far off 19 and said to Moses, (E)“You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.”

18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet(B) and saw the mountain in smoke,(C) they trembled with fear.(D) They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak(E) to us or we will die.”(F)
