Exodus 2:21-23

21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah in marriage. 22 She bore a son, and he named him Gershom; for he said, ‘I have been an alien[a] residing in a foreign land.’
23 After a long time the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned under their slavery, and cried out. Out of the slavery their cry for help rose up to God.

New International Version
21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah(A) to Moses in marriage. 22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a](B) saying, “I have become a foreigner(C) in a foreign land.”
23 During that long period,(D) the king of Egypt died.(E) The Israelites groaned in their slavery(F) and cried out, and their cry(G) for help because of their slavery went up to God.
