Exodus 2:20-22
Easy-to-Read Version
20 So Reuel said to his daughters, “Where is this man? Why did you leave him? Go invite him to eat with us.”
21 Moses was happy to stay with that man. Reuel let Moses marry his daughter, Zipporah. 22 Zipporah became pregnant and had a son. Moses named him Gershom[a] because Moses was a stranger in a land that was not his own.

20 “And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat.”(A)
21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah(B) to Moses in marriage. 22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a](C) saying, “I have become a foreigner(D) in a foreign land.”
