Good News Translation
3 (A)and Gershom and Eliezer, her two sons. (Moses had said, “I have been a foreigner in a strange land”; so he had named one son Gershom.[a] 4 He had also said, “The God of my father helped me and saved me from being killed by the king of Egypt”; so he had named the other son Eliezer.[b])

New International Version
3 and her two sons.(A) One son was named Gershom,[a] for Moses said, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land”;(B) 4 and the other was named Eliezer,[b](C) for he said, “My father’s God was my helper;(D) he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh.”
