11 Now I know the Lord is greater than all gods. He did this to those who looked down on Israel.” 12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, gave a whole burnt offering and other sacrifices to God. Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to Moses’ father-in-law. They ate the holy meal together before God.
13 The next day Moses solved disagreements among the people. So the people stood around Moses from morning until night.

New International Version
11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods,(A) for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”(B) 12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law,(C) brought a burnt offering(D) and other sacrifices(E) to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat a meal(F) with Moses’ father-in-law in the presence(G) of God.
13 The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people, and they stood around him from morning till evening.
