New International Version

¹³That evening quail^(A) came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew^(B) around the camp.

¹⁴When the layer of dew lifted, there on the surface of the wilderness was a fine flaky substance, as fine as frost on the ground.^(A)

¹⁴When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost^(A) on the ground appeared on the desert floor.
