¹³So it was that ^(A)quail came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning ^(B)the dew lay all around the camp.

¹³That evening quail^(A) came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew^(B) around the camp.

¹⁴And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was ^(A)a small round ^(B)substance, as fine as frost on the ground.

¹⁴When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost^(A) on the ground appeared on the desert floor.
