21 And Miriam sang to them:
“Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.”
Bitter Water Made Sweet
22 Then Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went into the wilderness of Shur; they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah.[a]

Exodus 15:21-23
New International Version
21 Miriam sang(A) to them:
“Sing to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(B)
he has hurled into the sea.”(C)
The Waters of Marah and Elim
22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert(D) of Shur.(E) For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water.(F) 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.[a](G))
