Exodus 12:40-42

40 The Israelites had lived in Egypt[a] for 430 years. 41 After 430 years, to the very day, all the armies of the Lord[b] left Egypt. 42 The night they left, the Lord watched over them to bring them safely out of Egypt. So the Israelites will always celebrate this night each year to remember what the Lord did.

New International Version
40 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt[a] was 430 years.(A) 41 At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions(B) left Egypt.(C) 42 Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come.(D)
