29 Now it came about at (A)midnight that (B)the Lord struck all (C)the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of (D)cattle. 30 Pharaoh arose in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians, and there was (E)a great cry in Egypt, for there was no home where there was not someone dead.

46 Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and (A)make atonement for them, for (B)wrath has gone forth from the Lord, the plague has begun!” 47 Then Aaron took it as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly, for behold, the plague had begun among the people. (C)So he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. 48 He took his stand between the dead and the living, so that the plague was checked. 49 (D)But those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides those who (E)died on account of Korah.
