15 (A)Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, but on the first day you shall [a]remove leaven from your houses; for whoever eats anything leavened from the first day until the seventh day, (B)that [b]person shall be cut off from Israel. 16 (C)On the first day you shall have a holy assembly, and another holy assembly on the seventh day; no work at all shall be done on them, except what must be eaten [c]by every person, that alone may be [d]prepared by you. 17 You shall also observe (D)the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this (E)very day I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt; therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as (F)a [e]permanent ordinance.

Do no work(C) at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat; that is all you may do.

17 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread,(D) because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt.(E) Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.(F)
