12 Moses said to the Lord, “See, you are telling me: Lead this people.(A) But you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said: You are my intimate friend;[a] You have found favor with me. 13 Now, if I have found favor with you, please let me know your ways so that, in knowing you, I may continue to find favor with you. See, this nation is indeed your own people.

Moses and the Glory of the Lord
12 Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’(A) but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name(B) and you have found favor(C) with me.’ 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways(D) so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”(E)
