2 (A)Your life must be controlled by love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us as a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice that pleases God.
3 Since you are God's people, it is not right that any matters of sexual immorality or indecency or greed should even be mentioned among you. 4 Nor is it fitting for you to use language which is obscene, profane, or vulgar. Rather you should give thanks to God.

2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us(A) and gave himself up for us(B) as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.(C)
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,(D) or of any kind of impurity, or of greed,(E) because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk(F) or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.(G)
