27 and don’t give place[a] to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

27 and do not give the devil a foothold.(A) 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work,(B) doing something useful with their own hands,(C) that they may have something to share with those in need.(D)
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,(E) but only what is helpful for building others up(F) according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
