3 God revealed his secret plan and made it known to me. (I have written briefly about this, 4 (A)and if you will read what I have written, you can learn about my understanding of the secret of Christ.) 5 In past times human beings were not told this secret, but God has revealed it now by the Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets.

3 that is, the mystery(A) made known to me by revelation,(B) as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight(C) into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.(D)
