9 when he made known to us the secret of his will. This was according to his plan that he set forth in the Messiah[a] 10 to usher in[b] the fullness of the times and to bring together in the Messiah[c] all things in heaven and on earth.
11 In the Messiah[d] we were also chosen when we were predestined according to the purpose of the one who does everything that he wills to do,

9 he[a] made known to us the mystery(A) of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed(B) in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment(C)—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.(D)
11 In him we were also chosen,[b] having been predestined(E) according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose(F) of his will,
