Endagaano Enkadde nʼEndagaano Empya
15 (A)Okuddamu n’eggonjebwa kumalawo ekiruyi,
naye ekigambo eky’obukambwe kisaanuula obusungu.
2 (B)Olulimi lw’omugezi lwogera by’amagezi,
naye akamwa k’abasirusiru kafukumula busirusiru bwereere.
3 (C)Amaaso ga Mukama galaba buli wantu,
alaba abatuukirivu n’abakozi b’ebibi.
4 Olulimi oluzimba muti gwa bulamu,
naye olulimi olulimba lubetenta omutima.
5 (D)Omusirusiru anyooma okubuulirirwa kwa kitaawe,
naye omutegeevu assaayo omwoyo eri okunenyezebwa.
6 (E)Mu nnyumba y’omutuukirivu mubaamu obugagga bungi,
naye omukozi w’ebibi by’afuna, bimuleetera emitawaana.
7 Akamwa k’amagezi kabunyisa okumanya,
naye omutima gw’abasirusiru si bwe gukola.
8 (F)Ssaddaaka y’aboonoonyi ya muzizo eri Mukama,
naye okusaba kw’abalongoofu lye ssanyu lye.
9 (G)Ekkubo ly’omwonoonyi lya muzizo eri Mukama,
naye Mukama ayagala oyo anoonya obutuukirivu.
10 (H)Oyo aleka ekkubo ettuufu alikangavvulwa n’amaanyi,
n’oyo akyawa okunenyezebwa alifa.
11 (I)Okufa n’okuzikirira biri mu maaso ga Mukama,
n’okulaba alaba nnyo emitima gy’abaana b’abantu!
12 (J)Omunyoomi tayagala kunenyezebwa,
era teeyeebuuza ku b’amagezi.
13 (K)Omutima omusanyufu guleeta essanyu ku maaso,
naye omutima omunyiikaavu gunafuya emmeeme.
14 (L)Omutima omutegeevu gunoonya okumanya,
naye akamwa k’abasirusiru kalya busirusiru.
15 (M)Omuntu bw’aba omunyiikaavu, buli kimu kimwononekera,
naye omutima omusanyufu gujaguza buli kaseera.
16 (N)Okuba n’akatono ng’otya Mukama,
kusinga okuba n’ebingi naye ng’oli mu mitawaana.
17 (O)Okulya emmere ng’eriko enva endiirwa awali okwagalana,
kisinga okuliirako ebyassava awali obukyayi.
18 (P)Omuntu asunguwala amangu asaanuula oluyombo,
naye omugumiikiriza akakkanya embeera.
19 (Q)Ekkubo ly’omugayaavu lijjula amaggwa,
naye ekkubo ly’omutuukirivu golokofu.
20 (R)Omwana omugezi asanyusa kitaawe,
naye omuntu omusirusiru anyooma nnyina.
21 (S)Obusirusiru ssanyu eri oyo atalina magezi,
naye omuntu ategeera atambulira mu kkubo eggolokofu.
22 (T)Awatali kuluŋŋamizibwa entegeka zifa,
naye awali abawi b’amagezi abangi ziyitamu.
23 (U)Okuddamu obulungi kisanyusa,
era kirungi ekigambo ekirungi okujjira mu kiseera ekituufu.
24 Ekkubo ery’obulamu liyimusa omugezi,
ne limuziyiza okukka emagombe.
25 (V)Mukama azikiriza ennyumba y’ab’amalala,
kyokka akuuma ensalo za nnamwandu.
26 (W)Enkwe za muzizo eri Mukama,
naye ebigambo ebisaanidde, bimusanyusa.
27 (X)Oyo anoonya okugaggawalira mu bukyamu aleetera ennyumba ye emitawaana,
naye oyo akyawa enguzi aliba mulamu.
28 (Y)Omutima gw’omutuukirivu gufumiitiriza bye gunaayanukula,
naye akamwa k’omwonoonyi kafubutula ebitasaana.
29 (Z)Mukama ali wala n’aboonoonyi,
naye awulira okusaba kw’abatuukirivu.
30 Amaaso agajjudde essanyu gasanyusa omutima,
n’amawulire amalungi galeetera amagumba obulamu.
31 (AA)Oyo assaayo omwoyo eri okunenyezebwa okuleeta obulamu,
alituula wamu n’abagezi.
32 (AB)Agayaalirira okubuulirirwa yeerumya yekka,
naye oyo assaayo omwoyo eri okunenyezebwa afuna okutegeera.
33 (AC)Okutya Mukama kuyigiriza omuntu amagezi,
n’obwetoowaze kye kitiibwa ky’omuntu oyo.
Proverbs 15
New International Version
5 A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.(K)
6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure,(L)
but the income of the wicked brings ruin.(M)
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge,(N)
but the hearts of fools are not upright.
10 Stern discipline awaits anyone who leaves the path;
the one who hates correction will die.(T)
12 Mockers resent correction,(W)
so they avoid the wise.
14 The discerning heart seeks knowledge,(Z)
but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
15 All the days of the oppressed are wretched,
but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.(AA)
16 Better a little with the fear of the Lord
than great wealth with turmoil.(AB)
17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love
than a fattened calf with hatred.(AC)
19 The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns,(AF)
but the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son brings joy to his father,(AG)
but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly brings joy to one who has no sense,(AH)
but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course.
24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent
to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.
25 The Lord tears down the house of the proud,(AN)
but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.(AO)
26 The Lord detests the thoughts(AP) of the wicked,(AQ)
but gracious words are pure(AR) in his sight.
27 The greedy bring ruin to their households,
but the one who hates bribes will live.(AS)
29 The Lord is far from the wicked,
but he hears the prayer of the righteous.(AV)
30 Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones.(AW)
31 Whoever heeds life-giving correction
will be at home among the wise.(AX)
