⁸ Let your ^(A)clothes be white all the time, and let not ^(B)oil be lacking on your head.

^5 (A)He who overcomes will thus be clothed in ^(B)white garments, and I will never ^(C)erase his name from the book of life, and ^(D)I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

¹⁸ I advise you to ^(A)buy from Me ^(B)gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and ^(C)white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that ^(D)the shame of your nakedness will not be manifested; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.

^4 (A)Around the throne were ^(B)twenty-four thrones, and upon those thrones I saw ^(C)twenty-four elders ^(D)sitting, clothed in ^(E)white garments, and ^(F)golden crowns on their heads.

¹¹ And ^(A)a white robe was given to each of them; and it was told to them that they should ^(B)rest for a little while longer, ^(C)until the number of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were to be killed even as they had been, would be ^(D)completed also.

A Multitude from Every Nation

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great ^[a]multitude which no one could count, from ^(A)every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing ^(B)before the throne and ^(C)before the Lamb, clothed in ^(D)white robes, and ^(E)palm branches were in their hands;

¹³ Then one of the elders ^(A)answered, saying to me, “These, clothed in the ^(B)white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?” ¹⁴ And I ^[a]said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the ^(C)great tribulation, and they ^(D)washed their robes and made them ^(E)white in the ^(F)blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ For this reason, they are ^(G)before the throne of God; and they ^(H)serve Him day and night in His ^[b](I)sanctuary; and ^(J)He who sits on the throne will ^[c](K)dwell over them. ^16 (L)They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun ^[d]beat down on them, nor any heat; ¹⁷ for the Lamb at the center of the throne will ^(M)shepherd them and will guide them to springs of the ^[e](N)water of life. And ^(O)God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

⁸ And it was given to her to clothe herself in ^(A)fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the ^(B)righteous acts of the saints.

¹⁴ And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in ^(A)fine linen, ^(B)white and clean, were following Him on white horses.
