Ecclesiastes 3:17

¹⁷I said in my heart,

^(A)“God shall judge the righteous and the wicked,
For there is a time there for every ^[a]purpose and for every work.”

¹⁷I said to myself,

“God will bring into judgment^(A)
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”^(B)

⁶Because ^(A)for every matter there is a time and judgment,
Though the misery of man ^[a]increases greatly.

⁶For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter,^(A)
though a person may be weighed down by misery.
