Diarhebion 29
Beibl William Morgan
29 Gwr a gerydder yn fynych ac a galeda ei war, a ddryllir yn ddisymwth, fel na byddo meddyginiaeth. 2 Pan amlhaer y cyfiawn, y bobl a lawenychant: ond pan fyddo yr annuwiol yn llywodraethu, y bobl a ocheneidia. 3 Gŵr a garo ddoethineb a lawenycha ei dad: ond y neb a fyddo gyfaill i buteiniaid, a ddifa ei dda. 4 Brenin trwy farn a gadarnha y wlad: ond y neb a garo anrhegion, a’i dinistria hi. 5 Y gŵr a ddywedo weniaith wrth ei gymydog, sydd yn taenu rhwyd i’w draed ef. 6 Yng nghamwedd dyn drwg y mae magl: ond y cyfiawn a gân ac a fydd lawen. 7 Y cyfiawn a ystyria fater y tlodion: ond yr annuwiol ni ofala am ei wybod. 8 Dynion gwatwarus a faglant ddinas: ond y doethion a droant ymaith ddigofaint. 9 Os gŵr doeth a ymryson â dyn ffôl, pa un bynnag a wnêl ai digio ai chwerthin, eto ni bydd llonyddwch. 10 Gwŷr gwaedlyd a gasânt yr uniawn: ond yr uniawn a gais ei enaid ef. 11 Y ffôl a dywallt ei holl feddwl: ond gŵr doeth a’i hatal hyd yn ôl. 12 Os llywydd a wrendy ar gelwydd, ei holl weision fyddant annuwiol. 13 Y tlawd a’r twyllodrus a gydgyfarfyddant; a’r Arglwydd a lewyrcha eu llygaid hwy ill dau. 14 Y brenin a farno y tlodion yn ffyddlon, ei orsedd a sicrheir byth. 15 Y wialen a cherydd a rydd ddoethineb: ond mab a gaffo ei rwysg ei hun, a gywilyddia ei fam. 16 Pan amlhao y rhai annuwiol, yr amlha camwedd: ond y rhai cyfiawn a welant eu cwymp hwy. 17 Cerydda dy fab, ac efe a bair i ti lonyddwch; ac a bair hyfrydwch i’th enaid. 18 Lle ni byddo gweledigaeth, methu a wna y bobl: ond y neb a gadwo y gyfraith, gwyn ei fyd ef. 19 Ni chymer gwas addysg ar eiriau: canys er ei fod yn deall, eto nid etyb. 20 A weli di ddyn prysur yn ei eiriau? gwell yw y gobaith am y ffôl nag amdano ef. 21 Y neb a ddygo ei was i fyny yn foethus o’i febyd, o’r diwedd efe a fydd fel mab iddo. 22 Gŵr dicllon a ennyn gynnen; a’r llidiog sydd aml ei gamwedd. 23 Balchder dyn a’i gostwng ef: ond y gostyngedig o ysbryd a gynnal anrhydedd. 24 Y neb a fo cyfrannog â lleidr, a gasâ ei enaid ei hun: efe a wrendy ar felltith, ac nis mynega. 25 Ofn dyn sydd yn dwyn magl: ond y neb a ymddiriedo yn yr Arglwydd a ddyrchefir. 26 Llawer a ymgeisiant ag wyneb y llywydd: ond oddi wrth yr Arglwydd y mae barn pob dyn. 27 Ffiaidd gan y cyfiawn ŵr anghyfiawn: a ffiaidd gan yr annuwiol ŵr uniawn ei ffordd.
