Deuteronomy 9:26-28

26 And I prayed unto Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, that thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, that thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 27 Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin, 28 lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because Jehovah was not able to bring them into the land which he promised unto them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

26 I prayed to the Lord and said, “Sovereign Lord, do not destroy your people,(A) your own inheritance(B) that you redeemed(C) by your great power and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.(D) 27 Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness(E) of this people, their wickedness and their sin. 28 Otherwise, the country(F) from which you brought us will say, ‘Because the Lord was not able to take them into the land he had promised them, and because he hated them,(G) he brought them out to put them to death in the wilderness.’(H)
