Deuteronomy 8:17-19
International Children’s Bible
17 You might say to yourself, “I am rich because of my own strength and power.” 18 But remember the Lord your God! It is he who gives you the power to become rich. He keeps the agreement he promised to your ancestors. So it is today.
19 Never forget the Lord your God. Do not follow other gods. Do not worship them. Do not bow down to them. If you do, I warn you today that you will be destroyed.

Deuteronomy 8:17-19
New International Version
17 You may say to yourself,(A) “My power and the strength of my hands(B) have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,(C) and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods(D) and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.(E)
