20 Moreover, (A)the Lord your God will send hornets among them, until those who are left and hide themselves from you are destroyed. 21 You shall not be in dread of them, for the Lord your God is (B)in your midst, (C)a great and awesome God. 22 (D)The Lord your God will clear away these nations before you little by little. You may not make an end of them at once,[a] lest the wild beasts grow too numerous for you.

20 Moreover, the Lord your God will send the hornet(A) among them until even the survivors who hide from you have perished. 21 Do not be terrified by them, for the Lord your God, who is among you,(B) is a great and awesome God.(C) 22 The Lord your God will drive out those nations before you, little by little.(D) You will not be allowed to eliminate them all at once, or the wild animals will multiply around you.
