Warning against Disobedience
10 (A)“Just as the Lord your God promised your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, he will give you a land with large and prosperous cities which you did not build. 11 The houses will be full of good things which you did not put in them, and there will be wells that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant. When the Lord brings you into this land and you have all you want to eat, 12 make certain that you do not forget the Lord who rescued you from Egypt, where you were slaves.

New International Version
10 When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build,(A) 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig,(B) and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,(C) 12 be careful that you do not forget(D) the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
