Deuteronomy 4:48-49

48 from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon Valley all the way to Mount Sion[a] (that is, Mount Hermon), 49 including the arid valley[b] east of the Jordan River, down to the Dead Sea,[c] at the foot of Mount Pisgah.

48 This land extended from Aroer(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion[a](B) (that is, Hermon(C)), 49 and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Dead Sea,[b] below the slopes of Pisgah.
