48 (A)from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, even to Mount [a]Sion (that is, (B)Hermon), 49 and all the plain on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Sea of the Arabah, below the (C)slopes of Pisgah.

48 This land extended from Aroer(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion[a](B) (that is, Hermon(C)), 49 and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Dead Sea,[b] below the slopes of Pisgah.
