45 these are the legal provisions and the rules and the regulations that Moses spoke to the Israelites[a] when they left Egypt,[b] 46 beyond the Jordan in the valley opposite Beth Peor in the land of Sihon the king of the Amorites,[c] who was reigning in Heshbon and whom Moses and the Israelites[d] defeated when they came out of Egypt.[e] 47 And so they took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites[f] who were beyond the Jordan, eastward,[g]

New International Version
45 These are the stipulations, decrees and laws Moses gave them when they came out of Egypt 46 and were in the valley near Beth Peor east of the Jordan, in the land of Sihon(A) king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon and was defeated by Moses and the Israelites as they came out of Egypt. 47 They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan.
