Deuteronomy 4:38-40

38 To thrust out nations greater and mightier than thou, before thee, to bring thee in, and to give thee their land for inheritance: as appeareth this day.
39 Understand therefore this day, and consider in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none other.
40 Thou shalt keep therefore his ordinances, and his commandments which I command thee this day, that it may [a]go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee forever.

New International Version
38 to drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance,(A) as it is today.
39 Acknowledge(B) and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.(C) 40 Keep(D) his decrees and commands,(E) which I am giving you today, so that it may go well(F) with you and your children after you and that you may live long(G) in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.
