Deuteronomy 4:30-32

30 In your distress[a] when[b] all these things have found you in the latter days,[c] then[d] you will return to Yahweh your God, and you will listen to his voice. 31 For Yahweh your God is a compassionate God; he will not abandon you,[e] and he will not destroy you, and he will not forget the covenant of your ancestors[f] that he swore to them.
32 “Yes, ask, please, about former days that preceded you[g] from the day that God created humankind on the earth; ask even from one end of the heaven up to the other end of heaven whether anything ever happened[h] like this great thing or whether anything like it was ever heard.[i]

Deuteronomy 4:30-32
New International Version
30 When you are in distress(A) and all these things have happened to you, then in later days(B) you will return(C) to the Lord your God and obey him. 31 For the Lord your God is a merciful(D) God; he will not abandon(E) or destroy(F) you or forget(G) the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.

32 Ask(H) now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth;(I) ask from one end of the heavens to the other.(J) Has anything so great(K) as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?
