4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “This is the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I said to them, ‘I will give this land to your descendants.’ I have let you look at it, Moses. But you will not cross over there.”
5 Then Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in Moab. It was as the Lord had said. 6 The Lord buried Moses in Moab in the valley opposite Beth Peor. But even today no one knows where his grave is.

4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(A) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(B) when I said, ‘I will give it(C) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(D) over into it.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord(E) died(F) there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6 He buried him[a] in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor,(G) but to this day no one knows where his grave is.(H)
