⁴¹ When I sharpen^[a] my flashing sword,^[b]
    and my hand takes hold^[c] of it in judgment,
I will take reprisals against my foes,^[d]
    and my haters I will repay.
⁴² I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
    and my sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain,
    and captives^[e] from the heads^[f] of the leaders of the enemy.’
