³⁹ “See now that I myself am he!^(A)
    There is no god besides me.^(B)
I put to death^(C) and I bring to life,^(D)
    I have wounded and I will heal,^(E)
    and no one can deliver out of my hand.^(F)

¹⁸ For he wounds, but he also binds up;^(A)
    he injures, but his hands also heal.^(B)

¹⁷ But I will restore you to health
    and heal^(A) your wounds,’
declares the Lord,
‘because you are called an outcast,^(B)
    Zion for whom no one cares.’^(C)
