¹⁵ “But ^(A)Jeshurun grew fat, and ^(B)kicked;
    ^(C)you grew fat, stout, and sleek;
^(D)then he forsook God ^(E)who made him
    and scoffed at ^(F)the Rock of his salvation.

² Thus says the Lord who made you,
    ^(A)who formed you from the womb and will help you:
^(B)Fear not, O Jacob my servant,
    ^(C)Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

¹³ and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
    ^(A)who stretched out the heavens
    and ^(B)laid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
    because of the wrath of ^(C)the oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
    And where is the wrath of ^(D)the oppressor?
