21 And when many terrible troubles come upon them, this song will confront them as a witness, because it will not be lost from the mouths of their descendants. For I know what they are inclined to do even now, before I have brought them into the land that I promised them on oath.’ 22 That very day Moses wrote this song and taught it to the Israelites.
23 Then the Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun and said, ‘Be strong and bold, for you shall bring the Israelites into the land that I promised them; I will be with you.’

New International Version
21 And when many disasters and calamities come on them,(A) this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do,(B) even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath.” 22 So Moses wrote(C) down this song that day and taught it to the Israelites.
23 The Lord gave this command(D) to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous,(E) for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”
