3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes, and have compassion upon you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will fetch you; 5 and the Lord your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, that you may possess it; and he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes[a](A) and have compassion(B) on you and gather(C) you again from all the nations where he scattered(D) you.(E) 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens,(F) from there the Lord your God will gather(G) you and bring you back.(H) 5 He will bring(I) you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous(J) than your ancestors.
