Choose Life

¹⁵ “See, ^(A)I have set before you today life and ^[a]prosperity, and death and ^[b]calamity;

^19 (A)I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, ^(B)the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your seed, ^20 (C)by loving Yahweh your God, by listening to His voice, and ^(D)by holding fast to Him; ^(E)for ^[a]this is your life and the length of your days, ^[b]that you may live in ^(F)the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

²³ For the wages of ^(A)sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is ^(B)eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁶ But she who ^(A)lives in self-indulgence is ^(B)dead even while she lives.

¹⁵ Then ^(A)when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when ^(B)sin is fully matured, it brings forth death.
