Then we took all of his cities. We took power over all the cities in the region of Argob where King Og of Bashan ruled. There were 60 cities. All the cities had high walls around them, with gates that the people locked. There were also very many villages which did not have walls around them. We destroyed them completely as a gift to the Lord. We had done the same thing to the cities of Sihon, king of Heshbon. We destroyed every city and we killed all the men, women and children.

At that time we took all his cities.(A) There was not one of the sixty cities that we did not take from them—the whole region of Argob, Og’s kingdom(B) in Bashan.(C) All these cities were fortified with high walls and with gates and bars, and there were also a great many unwalled villages. We completely destroyed[a] them, as we had done with Sihon king of Heshbon, destroying[b](D) every city—men, women and children.
