Deuteronomy 28:36-38

36 “The Lord will bring you, and your king whom you set over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known; and there you shall serve other gods, of wood and stone. 37 And you shall become a horror, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples where the Lord will lead you away. 38 You shall carry much seed into the field, and shall gather little in; for the locust shall consume it.

New International Version
36 The Lord will drive you and the king(A) you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors.(B) There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone.(C) 37 You will become a thing of horror,(D) a byword(E) and an object of ridicule(F) among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.(G)
38 You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little,(H) because locusts(I) will devour(J) it.
