34 What you see will be so horrible that you will go insane, 35 and the Lord will punish you from head to toe with boils that never heal.
36 The Lord will let you and your king be taken captive to a country that you and your ancestors have never even heard of, and there you will have to worship idols[a] made of wood and stone.

34 The sights you see will drive you mad.(A) 35 The Lord will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils(B) that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.(C)
36 The Lord will drive you and the king(D) you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors.(E) There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone.(F)
