¹² The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, even the ^[a]heaven to give rain unto thy land in due season, and to bless all the work of thine hands: and ^(A)thou shalt lend unto many nations, but shalt not borrow thyself.

¹³ And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the ^[b]tail, and thou shalt be above only, and shalt not be beneath, if thou obey the commandments of the Lord thy God which I command thee this day, to keep and to do them.

¹⁴ But thou shalt not decline from any of the words, which I command you this day, either to the ^(B)right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
