6 And the Egyptians treated us badly and oppressed us, and imposed hard labor on us. 7 Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our fathers for help, and He heard our voice and saw our suffering and our labor and our [cruel] oppression; 8 and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terror [suffered by the Egyptians] and with signs and with wonders;

6 But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer,(A) subjecting us to harsh labor.(B) 7 Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice(C) and saw(D) our misery,(E) toil and oppression.(F) 8 So the Lord brought us out of Egypt(G) with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,(H) with great terror and with signs and wonders.(I)
