GOD’S WORD Translation
16 Today the Lord your God is commanding you to obey these laws and rules. You must faithfully obey them with all your heart and with all your soul. 17 Today you have declared that the Lord is your God and that you will follow his directions, obey his laws, commands, and rules, and listen to him. 18 Today the Lord has declared that you are his people, his own special possession, as he told you. But you must be sure to obey his commands.

Follow the Lord’s Commands
16 The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.(A) 17 You have declared this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in obedience to him, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws—that you will listen to him.(B) 18 And the Lord has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession(C) as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.
