5 But Yahweh your Elohim refused to listen to Balaam. Instead, he turned Balaam’s curse into a blessing for you because Yahweh your Elohim loves you. 6 Never offer them peace or friendship as long as you live.
7 Never consider the Edomites disgusting. They’re your relatives. Never consider the Egyptians disgusting. You once were foreigners living in their country.

New International Version
5 However, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse(A) into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves(B) you. 6 Do not seek a treaty(C) of friendship with them as long as you live.(D)
7 Do not despise an Edomite,(E) for the Edomites are related to you.(F) Do not despise an Egyptian, because you resided as foreigners in their country.(G)

5 Nevertheless the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy God loved thee.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
